About
For people who care as much about how they live as what they buy
The Homebody is an independent-minded Singapore property publication. We write about new launches, resale homes, upgrading, selling and the market itself, for readers who want to understand a decision before they make it. A home is where you will live for years; we think the reading you do about it should be worth your time.
What we cover
New launch reviews and project dossiers. Guides to buying, selling and upgrading. Stories about homes and the people deciding on them. Market analysis that names its sources and dates its figures. If a piece is opinion, it is labelled as ours; if it is a fact, you can trace where it came from.
How the writing stays honest
We keep facts and opinions separate. Prices and availability change monthly, so every figure carries the month it was published for. When a source does not publish something, we say "not yet released" rather than guessing. The full set of rules is on one page: how we cover property.
The advisory side
Reading The Homebody is free, and always will be. Behind the publication is a small team that advises buyers, sellers and upgraders directly. That conversation is how this site earns its keep, and it is also why the writing has to hold up: you will not trust us with a decision if the reading was not straight with you. If you are weighing a move, speak with us. If you are just reading, welcome; that is the point of the place.
